How long will my order take?

Please allow 1-3 working days for me to pack and send your order. At the checkout stage you can choose either Royal Mail Tracked 48 or for a quicker service choose Royal Mail Tracked 24.

Where do you source your materials from?

I buy most of my materials from Cookson Gold and they are based in Birmingham. I also use smaller companies such as Metal Clay in Wareham and Kernowcraft who are based in Cornwall. Most of the silver I buy is recycled and if I use gemstones I buy from sellers I can trust and have ethical standards that I am happy with.

How many people work at Makara Silver?

Just me! Whilst I am growing my business I do everything; making, admin, photography (don’t judge me) and marketing.

Do you hallmark your jewellery?

I do have a hallmark, and I am registered with the London Assay Office, it is expensive to hallmark and as I don’t legally need to hallmark silver under 7.78g I would rather pass the savings on to my customers. I have written a blog all about hallmarking if you would like to read it click here.

Where do you sell your jewellery?

I sell my jewellery through my website and I also have a an Etsy shop, I also sell some pieces in Seaglass Gallery in Lympstone Village which is a physical shop that opens on Friday and Saturdays.
